Milestone offers these benefits to employees:

Medical Coverage

UPMC medical coverage is offered to employees working at least 30 hours per week.  This plan is Agency and employee sponsored. 

Dental Coverage

Aetna dental coverage is offered to employees working at least 20 hours per week.  This plan is paid by the employee.

Vision Coverage

Aetna vision coverage is offered to employees working at least 30 hours per week.  This plan is free to employees.  Family coverage may be purchased.

Buy-Back Program

Full-time employees covered by another health care source (for example, spouse's health plan) may choose to participate and will receive a monetary amount in the second pay check of the month.

Paid-Time-Off (PTO)

Paid-time-off is earned based on years of service and is accrued each pay period. Part-time employees receive PTO on a pro-rated basis.

15 PTO days earned up to 1 year of service.
20 PTO days earned for 1 year to 3 years of service.
23 PTO days earned for 3 years to 5 years of service.
27 PTO days earned for 5 years or more of service.

Paid Holidays

The following eight holidays are observed:

New Year's Day
Martin Luther King Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Eve Day
Christmas Day

Retirement Plan

A 401(K) Savings Plan is available to all full-time and part-time employees. Agency matches dollar-for-dollar up to 5 percent with immediate vesting and continuous enrollment.

Educational Leave

Up to 3 hours per week may be granted to a full-time employee for educational leave provided the employee is enrolled in a work-related, undergraduate or graduate program.
